Lions Judo Club hosted the Craig Fallon Randori — an open training session in memory of one of Britain’s most respected judoka, Craig Fallon. The evening brought together judoka of all ages and abilities for a session focused on technical randori, mutual respect, and community.
Remembering Craig Fallon
Craig was a World and European Champion at -60kg and is remembered for his technical ability, work ethic, and humility. This session was about more than just training — it was about carrying forward the values he represented.
Supporting a Greater Cause
All money raised from the event is being donated to:
- The Craig Fallon Cup — taking place in July 2025, supporting young judoka and continuing Craig’s legacy in competition.
- Mind — the mental health charity, helping raise awareness and provide support to those who need it.
Thank you to everyone who contributed — your support means a lot.
The Session
The randori itself was open to all levels, with players rotating regularly to encourage varied practice and learning. There was a great atmosphere throughout — focused, respectful, and challenging in the best way.
Everyone trained hard, looked after each other, and made sure the session reflected the kind of judo Craig would’ve appreciated.
