The Craig Fallon Randori at 3K’s

This month, 3Ks Judo Club hosted the Craig Fallon Randori — a special open session held in memory of one of Britain’s finest judoka, Craig Fallon. The mat was full, the energy was high, and the spirit of the session was exactly what it should’ve been: focused, respectful, and centred on learning.

We were proud to have members of Lions Judo attend and take part in the evening.

Remembering Craig Fallon

Craig Fallon was a World and European Champion, and one of the most technically skilled judoka the UK has ever produced. His legacy goes beyond medals — it’s about his attitude, commitment, and love for the sport.

Sessions like this one help keep that legacy alive, especially through high-quality randori with players from all over.

Supporting a Greater Cause

The session also raised funds for two important causes:

  • The Craig Fallon Cup – taking place in July 2025, giving young judoka a platform to compete in Craig’s memory.
  • Mind (Mental Health Charity) – helping support mental health awareness in and out of sport.

Thank you to everyone who donated and supported on the night.

The Session

Judoka of all levels took part, with regular rotations and a strong focus on clean, technical randori. Everyone worked hard and trained safely, creating a great learning environment. It was brilliant to see so many clubs represented and to see younger players mixing in confidently with seniors.

A huge thank you to 3Ks Judo Club for hosting such a meaningful event, and to all the coaches, players, and families who came along. Special thanks to the Lions members who represented our club so well.
